1890 ERFURT KAR 88

Got this in the mail yesterday. Erfurt didn't get the go ahead to make these until 1891, but 1890 guns don't seem to be unusual.
This one is all matching. The metal seems to have been "cleaned up",but it presents well. I just realized that unit numbers were hand engraved instead of stamped. Can anyone decipher this one for me? My guesses are always on the bizarre side, lol.

Thanks! My guess was something to do with a baking unit. Lol. I need to find a source for deciphering unit marks.
Jeff Noll's book is solid, but it's out of print and generally expensive. There's enough folks here that have it though, so anything you post will be deciphered usually.

Gortz' book (German Small Arms Markings) is also good and still cheap, but a little more limited.

Congrats on a nice Erfurt, I love the look of Kar 88s and the wood on this one is phenomenal! Where'd you manage to find this one if you don't mind me asking?
