Can we all assume this showm magazine is wartime production? It's not cut down from the bottom.

yes. I've never seen a timetable of MP44 production by block and that would terrific info to have.

    G41 recoil springs

I use a set of replacement G43 springs in my G41 shooter. I bought a set of extra springs (G43 but for my G41) from Apfeltor when I picked up a shooter's kit (with springs) for my G43, but several vendors sell them.

    STG45 w/rail

Looks to be a newly (2015-ish) added rail with a repro mount. I'd like to see more of the rifle itself though. She's rough, but still eye candy.

    Great looking rifle.

    Dk MP43/1

If it has the rails for it then that's a cool add on. My own MP43/1 has no rails. I guess just a bit too late production and that idea was already tossed, but if it had a rail I'd have that repro mount for it.

    K43 w/questions

How about posting a pic or two? Otherwise it's a guessing game for those reading this. The ends/edges of the formed stamped housing meet in the lower center of the rear of the housing and this broken "line" is often confused as being a crack when in fact it is not, but it is rather how the final...

    G41

Nice rifle. Stock will clean up easily with a few wipes of a cloth with acetone. Bronze wool and oil will handle that minor surface rust and she'll look fabulous. It'll look pretty good unless the stock is sanded, but stock looks good in those images. Still, you can't say it's un-messed with...

What Markings would one find on an ORIGINAL MP/StG44 Stock?

Is this on a Sauer rifle? My own serial matching Sauer MP44 has a stock like the upper one at first glance. My other later examples have stocks that are near identical in design/lamination as the K98ks and G/K43s.

    MP43/1 Local Museum

Yes, that's surprising but it is refinished and I suppose the price reflected that. Still a pretty rare rifle and worth that investment. Even refinished, or so the listing states (it does appear refinished), it's a bargain at that price which I think includes the premium but less the sales tax...

Apparently not. This one wasn't anywhere near that.

Rco 45 rg34 on the Bay

I snagged the rco44 that was listed. I saw this one too but totally missed the rco45 marking. Bummer. Honestly, the lighting in the images is so poor that it might be far nicer kit in reality than the images suggest.
