Denatured alcohol (from Home Depot) makes the black paint and shellac literally dissolve before your eyes. It is very easy to do. Then finish the stock with boiled linseed oil. It will look and smell awesome! I plan to post pics of my new dou once I put a few more coats of BLO on it.
