Yeah, it happens. I know other things like the back of my hand... I'm no expert at users yet lol. The only other guess I'd have is if its an RC... with no import marks, could it be a Vietnam-era bring back? The only problem is no papers or anything.

I feel stupid. Well, guess neither of the guns are worth getting. Unless a non-import marked, RC is worth while at all lol.

It wasn’t matching at all, and it’s a PW Arms import. We were wrong but hey he knows now!

He went high and said 1300 based off of gunbroker. Seller was honest and said he doesn’t know the market and that gunbroker over prices things. Once I got confirmation here, I gave him the story on it and a real value. Said like 600 tops if he really wanted to maximize the value lol.

I was going to get this rifle as a shooter. I thought the “star” or “asterisk” was like early WW1 Mausers being built out of rejects. Sucks that it’s really just an RC. Seller appreciated the info and ended up just keeping it.

Nah. Don’t got one of those. I told the seller the story about it and he seemed fine with it. Said he’d rather keep it since he’s had it for years then.

So pretty much avoid it. Damn shame. it looked nice too. Worse case I’ll trade a pistol for it lol.

thing is, it is not import marked. Says it isn’t marked at all. While that’s the case, he isn’t asking a whole lot. Just it shows some red flags but it also doesn’t. I’d treat it as a shooter primarily lol.

Let’s just say when I picked it up, it felt really poor quality still. I almost cut my hand on it, just because of how poorly built it was. Like it was neat for sure… but I really wasn’t impressed. Youre better off getting the PTR or a kit build. Honestly. Or begging DK Production for it.
