I think I'm getting the hand of this picture thing. All matching gun. Probably has the best imperial stamps on the stock of the 98s I own.

Exceptional Gewehr! Not only is the condition absolutely wonderful, but it's a rare date and seems to have escaped any wartime rework. Thanks for posting photos, i'll get it in the reference.

Brooksy; solid Spandau from a tough year. I have a very similar one that managed to escape any major work. Not many like this out there.

What time capsule did you pull this rifle from? Finding anything pre war still intact is hard enough, this is a wonderful Spandau, thanks for sharing it here.

When I think of a prewar date Gewehr 98 I hope to own one day this is exactly what I hope to find! Congrats and thanks for sharing this with us all
