I own this 1934 Banner Mauser that I know nothing about other than they were supposedly made for civil service use (Treaty of Versailles). I know that it should be blued steel and someone parkerized this one. Maybe done after rifle was in US hands? or ? I once checked this rifle against this one: https://imageevent.com/badgerdog/ge...srwo1kzar1.goose?n=0&z=9&c=4&x=1&m=24&w=0&p=0
and the parts that my rifle had, all seemed to match except for the serial number of the bolt.
I would welcome any comments. I am posting a few photos, all that I still have but happy to take more if anyone has interest.
