I hadn’t seen one of these before so I had to buy it. It was listed as a vet modified piece, but it’s clearly an Akah product. I looked through a late 1930’s catalog of theirs to no avail, perhaps someone has a wartime catalog to check?
I have never seen this version, even not on very old stuff, catalogs or advertising in relation to Alfred Kind Hunstig.
For me "A. K." are initials of the former owner, then also the points between A and K make an sence. Also the "A. K." is an other style than the crest, looks for me that the initials are later embossed.
You find this kind of embossed initials often on civilian prewar leather scope cases, sometimes in combination with "crest / AKAH".
