BYW, if you take the receiver out of the stock there should be 2 CGH stamps in the channel along with a 3 digit number that should match the handguard, this is subcontractor's marks that supplied the stocks to Waffenstadt and these markings only have been observed in Waffenstadt rifles. I'd say you did pretty darn good scoring that Waffenstadt it's in really good condition, any one of us would be happy to take it off your hands, wink wink PM me.![]()
Here's mine... I was puzzled by the ### on the butt plate and then found same ### stamped in the barrel channel for the stock & HG. I see the CGH also stamped in the channel beneath the grease. Guessing C.G. Haenel made the stock.
Anyone know what the "logo" represents at the barrel collar? (see last pic)
Also, I am thinking H.SAK finished the barrel, and Roeschlingstahl is the steel maker (per Simpson). Disk is Sold. Bd. stamped. It came with an unmarked muzzle cover and dandy DSM sling.
