Hello,

Here pictures from my first K43 :)

It is a russian capture with later use by the East German Volkspolizei.

The hand guard is a Durofol 4.

The mount is not original but I think the ZF 4 is ok.

Maybe not a perfect K43, but with double history and I am happy to have it.

Regards Peter

Classic example of a VoPo - could just be me but is there an additional post war eagle stamped on the left side of the receiver above the VoPo stamping?

Interesting to see a VoPo still in Germany - many got exported. Many slight variations but everything on yours is correct.

From what I can see, the ZF4 scope looks legit.

That additional eagle is a modern German E/N proof. Common on stuff that is exported to Germany (or West Germany).

I have a few more pics.

Looks like your barrel is Ng marked also?

That's right, the West German E/N proof.

The main proof is on the barrel, you can see the proof is done May 1986 by the proof office in Mellrichstadt (West Germany).
Is this what you mean with Ng marked ?

I think 1986 was the year when in was exported from East to West Germany.

And I found one more Walther Eagle 359.

No, look below the barrel code. Looks like an 'Ng' stamped there.

This shows up on some ac44 rifles, and some believe this indicates assembly by the SS at the factory in KL Neuengamme

Here a better picture, this is the only marking below the barrel code.
