100% agree. Current price a little high I think but surplus are surplus. 5 Years from now we will be wishing we bought all the bubbaed and sporterized mausers for only 375. I all ready miss the 125-175 sporters.

An all correct G to K conversion can break 3k and I have seen it happen..

I like t use the permatex product paint & decal stripper you can buy at an auto parts store. I hope she cleans up well for you.

I hope you can remove the paint without destroying the wood or whatever is left of the blueing on the metal.

Wynns air intake cleaner will remove paint from metal without damaging the bluing. Don't use it on the wood tho.
