IMO the Zeiss Zielviers with these range marking 1-2,3,4 are most likely hunter donated scope also if you notice the range marking are same as found on P.Kohler SSR Polizei rifles , that would suggest to me that these Scope ended up being used on Polizei SSR Rifles .

I also noticed the serial # is a Scope that once belonged to me and was sold another forum member and was sold/traded to ATILLA
 
thank you for your answer I suspected that this ZEILVIER was a recovery of the civilian market and brought back to police or military standards of 1938 /39 these are I think the most difficult scopes to find because the production whether in LT or SSR was very low and only really resumed from 1943 DAVE or GEORGE you didn't answer me on my 98K 237 of 1938 SSR in the post of the PECAR KHOLER of DAVE ?????? Do you think it's an SSR police???
