WWII era Llama 32 pistols

These little Llama 7.35 pistols were popular as personal carry weapons by Nazi Officers. Many were purchased thru distributors like the Geco stamped example on the right. A period holster is also displayed.
These are really neat little pistols and are like 1911 midgets. I have actually sold the one on the left but retain the Geco marked example on the right.

It is hard to find the Geco stamped ones.

interesting... my dad has one of these in his safe and never paid much attention to it. Is there a serial range or way of dating these ? I see yours are marked differently as far as the Spanish markings. Flaming bomb on slide ect.

I remember seeing a Berretta .32 with a Geco logo on the tang as well.

Spanish pistols used (may still, not sure) a letter code that signifies the date.

M 1941
N 1942
Ñ 1943
O 1944
P 1945

Moosedog's Llama has the Ñ on the left side of the frame above the trigger.

This practice was apparently dropped at some point. My just-acquired Star 28M has the year, 82, stamped into the frame under the left grip. Every earlier Spanish pistol I have has a code.

Wonder

When I was collecting Axis pistols I pretty much had one of each. This is one I never found in condition. I wonder how many were imported into Germany?
