WTK WALTHER & duv G.41 G./K.43 information for listing
Hello fellow collectors:
I am taking on a HUGE undertaking. As what Orv did during his life, who obtained P.38 serial number information and P.38 information on the guns that are out there, I would like to do for the G.41 and G./K.43's. I am compiling a list of WALTHER G.41's and G./K.43's. Eventually I would like to do all the manufacturers of these rifles, but right now all I can handle are the rifles from Walther manufacturing.
If you would like to submit a rifle you have or have seen somewhere, post it here and I'll put that information on the list. My hope is that I can get an extensive list of these rifles and their conditions or just their serial numbers. Maybe one day this list can help buyers or collectors researching something as Orv's list has helped many out there.
Here's what I'm looking for (remember, right now WALTHERS):
Serial number AND whether it's an ac43, ac44 or ac45 (most important-I can't use any information you provide without this one thing)
G or K.43 marked or dual G.43 K.43 marked receiver
Receiver: milled or rough forged
stock: sanded, original, correctly marked, serial number matching rifle, stained, shellacked, duffle bag cut, sportarized whatever the condition is. ALSO "round type" or "flat type" (referring to the area just forward of the magazine)
sight hood or no sight hood
ribbed or flat butt plate door
If scope and mount comes with rifle, matching not matching, unknown if matching or not.
rifle matching, not matching, or parts that you can see that are matching (I know we aren't going to be able to take most of these down, just list what you can see is fine)
barrel threaded or not threaded
wood upper hand guard or Durofol
anything else you would like to add
Thank you in advance. I'll post another thread once this part is completed for the most part and I start on a second manufacturer. Also, if you are interested in information on these rifles, email me and I'll see what I can get for you. Right now, I'm just starting, but if I have the info I'll share it.
Example of how it will be listed:
G.43

comments: matching rifle, milled receiver, threaded barrel, ribbed butt plate door, stock matching to rifle and original.
