WTK: Last Gen Mauser HSC Pics Added
I just acquired a Mauser HSC. It has a dark finish with a s/n 941475 and the eagle on the left side is up right.
This came out of my Good Friend Walt Langendorfer's Estate . This was one of Walt's first German pistols that he bought after WWII from a Vet who brought it back. Walt was in the Pacific Theater during WWII and built a huge collection of WWII firearms, helmets and edge weapons after the War. Walt always kept this pistol in a night stand next to his bed after he bought it. Walt also was the inventor and patent holder of the Rhino Device, first gas piston on an M16/AR15.
Here are some pictures. There seems to be a proof mark at 7 o'clock on the front of the frame next to the barrel and on the butt of the grip next to the mag well.
