I'm currently on the hunt for a K98 barrel band, no numbers since this was a late war gun, but not a Kriegsmodell but as per the Karabiner 98K book, anything after October 1944 in the Brunn plant, a lot of the smaller parts, including barrel bands, didn't get serial numbers. Other than the Israeli bands I've been running across marketed as German bands, I've only seen these, which don't have serial numbers but have strange stampings on them. I haven't tracked them down yet, but not sure if they're German or not. Anyone have an idea where these came from?
