WaA214 was associated with Berlin-Lübeck machine factory (BLM), which was assigned the codes S/237, 237, or duv.

I suppose it could have been 39, 40 or 41 produced based on what's shown. Laminate date code would probably tell which.

Due to the fact that the acceptance stamps are Weimar eagles as opposed to the Nazi style in use by 1938, I'm going to guess that this is either an early laminate stock used on a late 1937 or early 1938 S/147 K98 (JP Sauer) or an early BLM (S/237, 237) from 1938 to early 1939. As mentioned above, the laminate date code will determine which it is.

I think this stock's Laminate date code has been deleted.
I just see a "5"

Well, that's unfortunate on the laminate code. The only thing I can think is left to go off of the is the "L" font. I think it matches more closely to a JP Sauer 'L" than the BLM "L" (BLM L completes the loop at a slightly higher point compared to the JP Sauer one imo) but someone with more experience can chime in on that.
