2 questions on FN1922, what is the latest SN, and are there any of these that were sent to the Luft or Kreigsmarine?
Thanks!

Can't say on the serial numbers, but I do have a papered Dutch contract 1922 that was captured by the Germans apparently, and issued to a Luft pilot...it was captured in a Luft drop holster, and was captured directly and taken from the pilot by the father of a friend of my Moms, I got it directly from the footlocker in the attic from the son (kooky liberal sort didn't want any guns in the house, found it in the attic after his dad passed...)

So I can say for sure that one went to the Luft...

If memory serves me correctly luftwaffe contract pistols had an (L) stamped on the pistol while the heer had the (H). I'm not familiar with any kriegsmarine issue.

thats interesting.. as far as serial #'s they are numbered like the HP brownings. The end being in the late b early c block.. I hadnt noticed the [H] or [L] on the slide I only recall the {H} on the slide.
there is also a late commercial variant.
There are army stock pistols 1922 and p37ung that have NO luftwaffe acceptance and he shear volume of luftwaffe holsters proves all we need to know IMHO.
