May not be the best place to ask this question, but can anyone identify these weird police shoulder boards?
The branch color is the usual orange for Gendarmerie, but the center cord is green instead of light or medium brown. Angola mentions the change in the shade of brown used in September 1942, but green cords are not listed at all. I can find a few examples of the green cords online, I cannot find much information on them.
Anybody here know? They don't really look post-war, but I don't know.
