Walther PPK million info?

Need some info/confirmation on this pistol.

I believe the s/n puts it in 1938 and it has the crown N and is in the "million series" The grips are damaged but I am wondering if they could be original and if not what style would be on it.

Any other info would be appreciated.

1938 is correct. The grips should be mottled brown though.

Whether this applies to your pistol as well would need a detailed study and comparison.

Any idea a place that has the correct grips or even a decent reproduction in the meantime?

legacy often has PPK grip for sale. check ebay or gun broker also. I have seen many a grip for a PPK for sale all three places.

That is on my list, just wanted to see more about this pistol before I make a move for it
