Here is my latest and probably best ever addition to my small collection, and a definite 'sleeper' for sure. I was very fortunate to pick this set up, and I've been after a G43 ZF4 scope rig for a while but didn't think I'd ever find one in my price range, yet alone one as nice as this - with the case as well! Came from the Scottish veteran who brought it back, it's in untouched condition having been kept in it's original wooden box for all this time. The box is also named to the soldier to which it was originally issued (quite hard to make out the name...) as well as having a faint ink waffenampt stamp to the inside upper lid. The box is in really good condition, with a high % of paint remaining to the outside and all catches/belt loop present etc.
It was brought back with all the accessories pictured, the rubber eye cup has unfortunately suffered some 'chipping' to the edges, but it's great that it is still there. The leather lens covers are in nice condition. The ZF4 scope itself is optically perfect and the adjustment dial works, it also has the blue cold weather triangle intact. The mount is WaA359 stamped, and has the G43 serial number '4221' engraved to the right.
All in all I am just delighted with this one, as I'm sure that complete sets like this with their original box, still with it's issued G43 scope found inside, aren't all too common!
Please excuse the pictures, my camera was playing up a little this morning, but hopefully they've come out alright.
