Same manufacturer, same year, same letter and production numbers are consecutive. One appeared about 30 years ago, the other last year in the arms amnesty. Thanks to the favor of a friend from whom I bought the younger ones according to the serial number, they are now in my collection. Both rifles show signs of wear, so they were issued and fought at the end of WWII. I added mounts with scopes. The scope mounts are post-war from 1947, produced by Zbrojovka ČZ Strakonice.P_20240527_184128-1.jpgP_20240527_184528-1.jpgP_20240527_184908-1.jpg

Very interesting to see the very small differences between the two. Slight machining operations done differently, stampings, etc.

Yes, you can see various details in the machining and in the parts used. When I have more time in the future, I will take it apart, compare and take pictures. I am very happy that I managed to match the two G 43 rifles in my collection like this. Both rifles were found in the Czech Republic. But they were quite far apart in terms of finds.

I love reunion stories like these and a nice pair of rifles as well! Thanks for sharing, those 2 are excellent rifles!
