Troddel identification

Hello,

These recently came into my possession.
Can anyone identify these troddels please?
I've read the discussions regarding if these were actually used on a SG. 84/98 III or not.
But I haven't found any resources that would help identifying them.
Are there any books available?

Thanks in advance

I would tend to Extra Trodels which should be used on Extra KS98, the last one is a NCO trodell.
From left it should be 5.company, 9.company, 7.company, 8.company.

Andy is correct that the troddels you have should be used on a Ks98 (dress) bayonet but they were also worn on S84/98III bayonets too. There are period pictures of troddels/knotts worn on S84/98 III bayonets.

Thank you both.
That's a great resource. I actually have Seitengewehr; History of the German Bayonet 1919-1945 in my bookcase, as it came recommended in other threads.
I'll give it another go together with the information provided here.

Edged Weapon Accouterments of Germany 1800 - 1945 by Heinrich Kreutz et al. In my opinion/experience the best single source reference for bayonet Faustriemen, Portepees and Troddeln. Covers accouterments for most all swords, daggers and bayonets of the periods specified. Includes scores of photographs and illustrations most in full color. An excellent reference at a very affordable price. No dog in the fight but definitely a well used title on my shelves. My thoughts only ....
