Strange stamp on both sides of a BCD 42 98K stock

Hello - I am new to this forum. I have been trying to identify the markings on my 98K stock but have had no success with extensive google searches. I thought I would try the forums to see if anyone has seen these before. I believe the stamp which can be found on both ends of the stock says:
Pierre Chevallard
Agriculteur
Testour

I had to cobble that text together from both sides as its not a great stamping. The gun itself is a typical mid-war 98K with all matching serials marked BCD 42. The stock does not a have a serial number but is not new. Not sure if its sanded down, but if it was it has seen some use since then. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks for any help,

Paul

Agriculteur is French for Farmer, Testour is a city in Tunesia. I suppose the previous owner just put his name on the rifle with his profession and hometown.

Thank you both for the reply - Not as exciting as I thought it would be. I was looking to sell the rifle so I guess I will ask the dealer if its worth trying to remove the stamping.

Don't remove it. It will cost you money and harm the rifles value because they'll think you removed something else than a stamp. Plus maybe it attract someones attention, knowing the rifle previously been in the posession of someone in Tunesia. Especially in maybe 100 years.

You are more likely to remove value than to add value by this. So leave it that way and try to sell it as a feature - maybe someone will like it.
