“sterile” MAS36, german use theory?

Hey guys, i found a non serial numbered, no proof marked French MAS 36. My reading has turned up the opinions of either german or partisan assembly and use. Anyone have any info? Im doubting the german use theory as the lil teutonic elves didnt stamp anything on these that i can find, and the couple ive seen online are in pretty nice shape
