SS contract single rune sn.3916

Canadian Fabio
So this one arrived yesterday! SS contract ringle rune. This is a very Radom heavy example. Radom supplied receiver as well as many other smaller metal components, including the bolt. Mauser Oberndorf supplied trigger guard and floor plate, and Steyr stock.

Really a very classic example of a single rune, except for the extra rune stamped below the serial receiver serial number, which I believe to be an interesting factory error of some kind.

I thought I had seen this before. Great you finally have it home. It takes a very long time to get a rifle to you from the states. Congratulations Hale!

Whats going on with the serial numbers on the bolt root ? Sure look
odd to me. The marks on the bolt root look very much like file marks.

The font itself its pretty standard SS contract font. The silvering is bluing loss. The bluing job on the bolt is quite bad, and lots of parts look pretty spotty.
