Short barrel P38

What are people’s thoughts on the short barrel P38 that sold on Legacy’s website? It’s a phosphate y-block byf44 with a 3 1/8” barrel. Is this a fantasy piece? I’ve seen postwar P38k, not sure they were manufactured that way, though. I’ve also seen a WW2 dated P38 with an 8-inch barrel, but I don’t recall the manufacturer.

Fake.

That is about as boring of a military p38 as it gets, may as well spice it up a bit for extra $$$.

Also, that is not phosphate, its a blued finish.

Mag is phosphate, doesn't belong with that gun. That mag was made 4+ months after the gun. Gun is post war modified - not Gestapo. Gestapo P.38s are a myth to sell guns.
