Picked this up locally for a song and a dance to have it as a shooter since I keep striking out on another “shooter” PP. Before I blast hundreds of rounds through this baby I want to make sure there isn’t anything I’m missing. To me it appears the waffenampts were added at some point by bubba or the like, serial numbers on the barrel and end were hammered out and a new serial added. You can plainly see the old serial inside the slide and that faintly appears to match the barrel and end of gun. Serial 192232, frame is serial 31580. I’m assuming mismatch of parts tied together to try to make a Nazi gun, or am I missing something?
