Second time K98K owner

Just purchased my 2nd K98K this afternoon. Heard an advert for a gun shop, so I checked it out; not thinking I would find anything. But lo & behold there was one available. AR 43, receiver & walnut stock match, remainder doesnt. VG shape, more than I expected to find. Cost me $400. Been looking online and that is what Ive seen for pricing. Rifle is missing the rear sight components. Base is there, no spring, ramp, slide. Previous owner installed a scope mount, removed that straight away. Now to find a rear sight.
Purchased while on my motorcycle, so need to ride home with a K98K across my lap. A nervous ride. My 1st K98K was purchased back in the 70's for $85, a DOT 43. Sold that about 10 yrs ago. Got the itch again.
