S84/98 SGX44 0696 hh block

I picked this up this year at SOS. It came out of an old collection. Serial numbered 0696 hh block. It’s in very nice shape and makes my second SGX44 to my collection…. I also own 1842 hh block…

It is a nice early 44sgx, @joryfreeburg. Once owned by BCN member Dennis Gaither (former moderator of our bayonet forum and sadly deceased). We were both bidding on it when listed on ebay in the early 2000s. His snipe went through in the last seconds and mine was too late. Sold for a little less than $600. Denny was a really good guy. I miss him. It ended up with another former BCN member who might have been from whom you purchased.

I am happy to own anything Denny had in his collection…. I have noticed his posts here… looks like he had a great collection and knowledge base from what I have seen from his posts here
