S84/98 SGX44 0696 hh block

I picked this up this year at SOS. It came out of an old collection. Serial numbered 0696 hh block. It’s in very nice shape and makes my second SGX44 to my collection…. I also own 1842 hh block…

Seems like 750-1200 from what Ive seen last few years. For one thats VG+ EXC.

It was not lying on a table. I bought a rifle from another collector whom I have a relationship with and he offered the sgx up to me.

It is a nice early 44sgx, @joryfreeburg. Once owned by BCN member Dennis Gaither (former moderator of our bayonet forum and sadly deceased). We were both bidding on it when listed on ebay in the early 2000s. His snipe went through in the last seconds and mine was too late. Sold for a little less than $600. Denny was a really good guy. I miss him. It ended up with another former BCN member who might have been from whom you purchased.
