My feeling is this is for the 5.45 ak74 rifles. HKW probably added.

H,mmm. Well at least the HKW is WW2 . The can looks like it was always gray. No sign of green paint.

Interesting KK Rg34. If it is for the MPi-AK74N, then it must be E. German. Guess it could also be for the KK-Mpi-69 5.56 trainer as well (or any other 5.45/5.56 rifle). Would have to be relatively early since the typical "issue" 5.45 x 39 RG was greatly simplified: https://www.apexgunparts.com/east-german-cleaning-kit-vg.html Agree the HKW seems out of place here. The tool strongly resembles one of the two post-WW2 patterns which was available some years ago, with this one possibly being from late-WW2, left-over production. Maybe it just got tossed in for good measure...

There were a number of German firms whom made RGs for the commercial market. Undoubtedly some of them were produced and submitted when the German Army issued a solicitation for a individual, universal cleaning kit which became the Rg34. The MEWA RG34 is one made in different calibers and had changes to some of it's components during it's production life (a search on this forum will lead to a few posts about this kit). Also had a "VU Rg39" in a silver, rectangular tin with lid. Caliber was 5.56 and it had a oiler, RGK , etc.
