Question on Berg &Co bayonet

I have never followed bayonets closely, But have accumulated several, sorting them now in anticipation of eliminating duplicates and getting down to a manageable number.

Came across this one marked Berg & Co, dated 39 on the spline. In a matching scabbard with frog..

This is the first of that maker I recall seeing, is it anything special?

I wouldn't say special. It's a plus with matching scabbard but condition looks Fair and grip screws have been damaged.

Yes it was dissasembled more time, the blueing on blade is gone. Matching is a good.
