Hello everyone, my name is Nate and I was hoping to get your guys help. I picked up a bunch of slings and an action cover up in an auction in England. In the action cover listing it came with this pzb 39 cleaning kit. I had never heard of it before but I’ve always wanted an original action cover so I thought I’ll just sell the cleaning kit. Well it came in today and it’s pretty cool so I think I might keep it now lol. I’m wounding if this is a full kit? Also are these kits rare because I asked one of my collecting buddies and he said those are hard to find in the US. I’m sure this has probably already been covered in the forum but for some reason my search doesn’t work so I can’t search the forum. Any information on it would be greatly appreciated and also if anyone knows an around about value I would also appreciate that even though I think i might end up keeping it. Thanks you

Been some time since I had mine, but the G APPEL (cnx) kit appears to be complete. Sometimes they are missing either the PzB39 spare extractor and/or firing pin... both of which your kit has. I would not call the kit rare but think scarce appropriate. There were tales as to where these kits started turning up from. Rumor was they came from either Portugal or Spain and were recovered from a landfill. Was never able to verify any of this, but maybe someone has. As to value, IMHO despite what one sees online, a intact kit such as you have would be around $300.-$350. USD.
