Anything special about this mount? I picked up the scope for a possible SSR build . If the mount is junk I’ll just take it off without dismantling the scope

It looks like it was made for a standard dovetail on the receiver. Measure the spacing, if it is 11mm or 13mm possibly. Only odd thing to point out is the pretty unique shape of the rear ring, that intermediate piece to move forward the bottom portion.

To take off the rear ring just unscrew the ocular piece, then you can slide off the rear ring to the back without having to open up the rear ring. Then just re-screw the ocular piece, and you are done.

I’ll measure it, but as far as taking the rear mount off, the scope has a focus adjustment so it’s not as easy as just unscrewing the ocular piece. (Pic below is the same scope)

If there are tips on how to disassemble the scope safely, I’m all ears.

The focal adjustment ring is super easily removed. Single Screw removed, then you can also just slide it off to the rear too. Then afterwards just slide it on and carefully turn it until it is over the hole again, put in screw, done.
