Portuguese Mauser m/937

Hello.

I've just bought a 1937 Portuguese contract Mauser.

I have a question about it. I've spoted a X on the left side of the receiver and I'm wondering if it is a russian capture.

The parts are all matching except the front and rear trigger guard screws, and the the bayonet stud.

Can you tell me if it is a russian capture?

Looks like a normal Portuguese contract M937A rifle.
