Pair of Browning 1922’s

I’ve acquired Two FN Brownings Model 1922’s. I’m not familiar with them. From a quick search one looks to be commercial due to lack of Waffenampts and what looks to be a phosphate magazine. The other is normal Waa140 marked one.

photos are too small I really cant see any detail. I have seen a few now late war commercial 1922's with eagle/N proofs and wood grips.

The early one with F/N grips may have e/103 proofs or 140 ? as I see you wrote.. 6 place ser #. the later ones have a 5 place with letter suffix. up to the C block for wartime I believe

I’ll try to upload them from the computer later today. The photos were clear, but downgrading them to medium seems to have distorted the quality. The questionable commercial is a 13155 A block. The e/140 is a 20067B.

the b block typically would have wood grips that's why it looks earlier than it is.. I haven't posted photos here yet but, keep hearing of difficulty and size limit issues.

The commercial pistol should have eagle/N proofs. I have seen two others at least that are legit. Why they made commercial examples is anyone's guess that late..

very nice.. that wartime commercial is fairly scarce and legit. the other is later and needs the proper grips. should have the same as the other. But, both seem nice.
