I've had this one for a while, but I have not posted photos here. Matching with two matching magazines.

As always, comments welcome.

Thanks

Talk about stunning! How much does a fully matched Luger rig like that even go for these days (excluding BWs, those are insane)?

I'm not sure what current prices are now. I'd be interested to know, but this one is claimed by my son. Thanks

About 5 years ago I had the chance to buy a S/42 1937 with 2 matching mags for $3700. I passed thinking it was too much. Today, I would pay that.

Nice Luger and a rare find with the two matching mags. Most Lugers would be lucky to have one matching magazine. Try to find a nice holster and you will have the full rig. Do each of the grip panels have the last 2 digits of seral number stamped?

Yes, thanks!

Was a guy I bought an over under from, got to talking and he said you’d probably love the gun my grandpa brought back. Full Luger rig with both matching mags… he said he still took it out to the range which made me cringe.

My matching 1937 rig. Looking at 5,000 or 6,000 at todays price’s.

Another stunner..!! finding them with one mag is not too hard . Getting a deuce is extremely difficult as most rigs were separated .

Did that one come from Simpson's? I sold a twin to it to him, or his friend with him, at SOS/NGD about 8 years ago. It also had the original loader. I was after a real documented M40 USMC sniper, sold stuff firehouse style and missed the sniper by about 3 hours. It was the best I have ever seen or even heard of, a presentation rifle with everything, papers, case, plaque. One of life's bigger heart breakers. Pistol went for $1800 adding to the insult.

Mike, it was a walk in at The Tennessee Military Show about 7 years ago. An older gentleman said his dad brought it back, that’s the story no paperwork so. Saw him coming in at the door, right time right place, I paid his asking price, no haggling.
