In need of a non-numbered non-proofed cleaning rod for a DOU 43 of mine (the cleaning rod I have is stamped and serialized), I picked up one of the Norwegian 12.5 inch rods from Stewarts Military Antiques. It's got the rounded off cleaning patch hole, but I've never seen the triangular marking just above the hole that seems to be present in the one I got. I'm assuming that was a result of the manufacturing process used? The rifle is all matching save for the cleaning rod and the numbered non-matching rod bothered me just enough to spring the $30 for one of these. Thoughts welcome.
