Hello Everyone! Im new to this forum because of my newfound intrest of 98k rifles. I may be posting this in the wrong section, so move it if so. But anyways ive always had an intrest in German weapons of ww2 and wanted to get a 98 sometime soon. Ive read a lot about them online and saw a lot at gunshows, but i have no idea how to tell a real from a fake. Can someone point me in the direction of what i should look out for when i encounter one? Also what are "Blocks & Codes"?. Im looking for a rifle that saw service and is completely matching with a decent finish, any particular model i should look for? And is it possible to get one for under $1200 in that configuration? Thanks a lot!
