Just picked this up at the Franklin show last week. Very happy to get it, never found one in all my collecting years. I think they are very uncommon to find. Other Guns at the show, only saw one matched K98 there 337 code priced 4898.00 ,And way overpriced in my estimation. The others where all mismatched that i saw. One G43 with scope was there, did not look at it. Priced at $ 5600.00. Saw a mismatched bolt Gew for 2K there, totally nuts.

That is a very nice muzzle lid congratulations to you sir. I heard the show was pretty decent though. Some of my other friends that went picked up a couple nice items.

interesting cover for sure ! Maker marked and waffenampted. The engraving looked legit and would have probably presided on a pre41 k98k issued to the KM.

Damn, that is sweet. Would be the perfect fit on my N21XXX marked Km rifle……..I actually have one but it’s OST fleet.

This is so different from the one on my Mauser. My cap is machines and this one is stamped
