Here is my s/42 Navy 1938 walnut. North Sea disk mark Thought I would share. All Matching and screws, cleaning rod no. Had this since 1988. Just pulled it out of the bunker .Forgot what it looked like. No duffle cut. Or sanded. I see there is no 1938 navy in the pictures for reference.

Very nice! And a walnut stocked example as well. Is it a e block? Can't see from the photos.

That's a gorgeous example and with a damn nice walnut stock too. I didn't realize MO started deliveries of Kriegsmarine accepted rifles in 1938. What is the stock date on this one?

I have over 500 KM numbered items recorded. All my Mauser rifles…I had your rifle recorded so there’s photos of it somewhere.

Wow that,s something. I might have posted the serial long ago. Unless it was the original owner I traded with years ago.

That's interesting there's someone keeping record of kriegsmarine rifles. Are you only recording navy contract rifles or also rifles diverted to the navy?

If the latter is the case, is 2524p on the list? It is a JP Sauer produced rifle, 1937.

I record anything with the KM number. Pistol, rifles, bayonets, etc etc.
