mounting scope to dsm34?

Hi all, i have mauser dms34 rifle and i want to mount sniper scope zieljagd on it. Can somebody explain me how can i do it? Thanks

the receiver needs to be dove tailed and the bases pushed in. then drilled and screwed in place. mock up the assembly before you modifie the rifle. make sure the scope will clear. If the mounting is too low the scope wont clear. So tread very lightly on this project. true dsm's with optics which are very few and far between have a claw mount with tall rings.. Not short like you show. ALSO i wouldnt do this to a rare or matching rifle. Just my opinion.

Looks like a very nice scope ...

It is a personal opinion and you are free to do as you please but if I wanted to scope a DSM I'd go down the road of finding a scope with a 11 mm rail detachable montage in order not to modify the rifle.

Should you decide to go ahead, as Mauser 99 pointed, make sure first that you have room to cycle the bolt. Maybe, unless you have done it before, as it would be such a shame to damage a DSM, it is perhaps a job for a qualified gun-smith ?

Thanks for your answers guys, i dont want to damage this pretty rifle. I bought the gun for 260 euro and scope for 200 euro...maybe i will sell the scope
