Meine First Mauser

Good afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen

I finally got my hands on a Mauser 98. It is a 1934 Mauser Banner with CHDA cartouche. All matching SNs (75319) except the floorplate (SN 95). I would like to find the matching floorplate, but I know it is shot in the dark. It does have a takedown disk and a diamond proof. The sling is a COG (C. Otto Gehrckens, Pinneberg) and year is pre-war but no exact date. Very humble to have it. Thank you for your time.

A very wonderful example, a shame that the capture screw was broken off but that happens. Do not try and change anything. German field armorers has a very long and wide variance of keeping rifles in service. Mismatched is mismatched but there's always the possibility that the mismatched floor plate was installed by a armorer.
