Mauser Patrone Help!!

TopEnd

Member
Hey all. Im new here. I picked up an incomplete Mouser Patrone .22 a while back. Low serial number, 63263. I have had no luck finding any parts to complete the firearm. Not even sure what model it may have been when it was taken apart, from what I can find it is either an Es340, Es340B or Es340N. Need some help identifying the rifle and hoping to locate some parts.

Not enough info to tell specific model for sure but this is from a "first series" Mauser .22. If it has a solid feed ramp/single-shot then likely an Es320/Es340. If it has an open area that accepts a magazine then that would indicate a repeater which would be the Ms420 series.

Parts for these will be very difficult to find. Maybe look or another partial rifle and "marry" the two into one.

it is a single shot not a repeater

I have several of these barreled receivers and have yet to see any parts available for them. They were robbed of parts long ago.

I did see a stock on gunbroker not too long ago, but they wanted a fortune for it.

When you can buy a complete rifle in good condition, $250-$350, you'll likely never get parts to build a rifle cheaper than that.

If the bore is excellent, put it on a shelf and keep an eye out for a rifle with a trashed bore. That's about your best chance.

I agree with you there. Maybe one day something pops up, but not likely. Its a shame whoever took this one apart considering how clean it is.

Looks like you have an es340. With the slide safety. Single shot. First series not the newer N. Good luck trying to find any parts for it. They just don't exist. If you could find the parts, you'd be so far under water on cost. It's just not worth it. Just park it and look for a complete shooter to start with.
