The only good thing about getting ready for a move, is finding things you didn't know you had. I lived in Ky. 25 years ago and this rifle along with a bayonet and ammo pouch came from an estate sale there.
All matching except the front triggerguard screw, which does have a correct waffenampt, and the cleaning rod which bears a non matching number. I normally remove all the old dried grease from my rifles, but this one
is in such as found condition, that I just left it. I am going to have to get to the back of my safe more often.
