Hi there,

I recently picked up this k98k rifle, according to previous owner it was taken from the germans in 1944 by the french resistance in the southern area of Paris (Nogent sur Seine). The pictures below show the condition I received the rifle in and after some cleaning and also associated with an original sling. It's not in mint condition but it's a nice piece of history !

Thanks for sharing this. I have a 1940 I really like. These were finely finished with a beautiful, deep blue originally. Do you know how this was stored?
