I’ll take/post some photos of the internals, will probably be near the end of the week.Any chance to see markings inside the grips and the serial underneath the slide (along the edge)?
Believe me I know, one of my pet peeves is buggered screw slots. These screw slots were messed with by someone down the line of ownership.Very, very nice! Be careful removing the grips and putting a screw driver to the grip screws as you could bugger them up with the wrong size screw driver blade.
Great rig. The phosphates are really interesting variants. Your holster has been restitched and isn’t all original unfortunately. Otherwise, really nice keeper!
Very true. It could even be said that it was caused by the factory due to the hardening problems. These Radom screws don’t seem hardened and deform easily, some aren’t even cut right. I never let that dissuade me from buying one.
Thank you very much!Wow very nice, thanks for sharing. Upload them to our server and I’ll pic sticky it for reference. The problem with other servers is if the account closes, pic sticky is worthless
Take a look at the stitching on the back. The loops have been re-sewn into new holes and the outside seam has been re-sewn into new holes. The threading is also new. Period correct threading, but new.How do we know? Couldn’t be late variant construction?
I’m going to correct you about the loops - the holes you see below the belt loops are locator marks for placing the loops for sewing. Imo unaltered stitching.Take a look at the stitching on the back. Whenever you see vacant stitching holes, it’s a sign that the stitching has been replaced. IMHO.
