Late 1938 Walther PP commercial

Bumped the .32 collection by one to seven. This replaces a 1937 I used to have, and is a actually nicer finish. Late 1938, high polish, commercial proofed; really a very nice piece. SN: 148591 P; 1939 started at 155500 P. Went to shoot it yesterday, but somehow missed the April 9 order closing gun ranges in my state (MA)....so the range was closed...:censored:...and its an outdoor range!

The finger magazine is unmarked vintage post war...the flat magazine is an original banner. Holster is unmarked; may or may not be wartime.

Slowly replacing the .32 collection I used to have (15 pieces), but not interested in getting too many more. My little cabinet is full now....maybe a Walther 4, 1913 Sauer, 1907 Dreyse, 1900 Browning, or a FN10/22...all of which I used to have save the Walther 4.

1920 M03 Colt
1915 Imperial Proofed M14 Mauser
1939 Commercial Proofed Walther PPk
1944 German Proofed M35 Beretta
1938 Commercial Proofed Walther PP
1943 Army Proofed Mauser HSc
1909 M07 Savage

Looking into a bullet trap so I can play in the basement during the shelter-in-place.

That's a sweet little collection I just bought a 1907 dryese last weekend. The hardest thing is going to be to try to find a holster for that little guy. I would like to find a 1913 Sauer that was military accepted though.

A PPk holster should work.

I missed an Imperial 1913 Sauer rig by $50 last year. I enjoyed the one I have. The 1915 Mauser is from an Imperial Trophy rig. Missed out on a Walther 4 Imperial Proof piece last month, and "settled" for this local PP instead. I shoot extremely well with both Mausers. The HSc has a drilled/tapped/plugged spare barrel so I can carry it in WW2 reenactments with blanks.

7,65mm is my favorite caliber, but I also have most of the more "famous" 9mm, .45, .380, and .38 special pieces

I've been on a 32acp buying spree myself recently. Picked up a Savage 1917, FN 1922, two CZ 27s, and just yesterday a mid-60s PPK. Still looking for an HSC and Sauer 38H. It can get addictive.

I had a 1941 Sauer 38H rig, but I found the take down lever inside the guard would cause my trigger finger to bleed after 20+ rounds.

Love those .32s! I have a 1907 Dreyse, Ortgies, Mauser Model 4, FN 1910, FN1922
, and a Mann.

the holster is an un-marked cz27 holster. looks re-stitched. Correct PP holster would be an easy find though.
