Not a lot of decent photos out there of the K98k grenade launcher. Figured I would share mine.

It was named the Schiessbecher, aka: "shooting cup".

The Schiessbecher was introduced in 1942, and was produced until May 1944. The total production was 1,450,114.

Launcher sits on a matching "byf '43".

Very nice, looks like your BYF 43 is a walnut example as well. My DOU 44 has oxidation on the stock from have one of these shooting cups mounted on it for awhile. Its a B block rifle, I honestly hope to find one of these grenade launcher setups in the same condition as my rifle but I'm starting to doubt I'll find a perfect match.

Interesting. Does anyone else have an example of a lzb marked launcher?

What is the marking on the rifled tube section please?
