K98k bayonet with frog, but no blade markings

I have a K98k with frog, medium brown plastic handle but no blade markings. Blade is blued, about mint, factory sharpened, but the lack of markings makes me wonder if it is commercial. And what is a commercial one anyway. How how much does the affect the value ? Sorry, no pics, too old to take a good picture. Also have another one just like, but with markings but no scabbard, what is that worth, without the scabbard ?

First, does your bayonet have any WaA acceptance stamps side of the pommel or scabbard finial ball? Second, for years I referred to such bayonets as "commercial" but the German word "behoerden" was deemed to be a better term. Basically, it separates bayonets made for the German armed services under contract from others which typically do not exhibit features such as military acceptance markings and serial number scheme. The "behoerden" were available to German para-military organizations which may have had a need or desire to have bayonets, but were outside receiving such from the OKH which served the military. Such organizations would be the Police, Post Office, Railroads, etc. In addition, bayonets destined for export outside Germany would also fall into this category (although some, like the Portuguese M1937 & M1941 contract bayonets do bear military acceptance markings as Portugal wanted arms made to German military specification and quality).

Thanks Pwcosol and Hambarger; enough bangs/dings and corrosion ton the backstrap and pommel to conceal any WAas and I hate to bend the thick leather to remove the frog. Forgot that the point 1/8" is broken off, so it was used but not abused.
Another one I have looks like '2 cpf" and "621" on other side. I need to find on of those code lists.
My brother-in-law's brother-in-law brought back two bayonets he got from Germans who "didn't need them anymore" he (the soldier) said,.

Not to criticize in any way, but technically, there is no such thing as a" K98k" bayonet. The correct designation for the bayonet issued for a K98k rifle is S84/98 III, I assume your main concern is how much it is worth. From your description, I would say not a whole lot. Post pics if you can.

I have no experience collecting bayonets and little knowledge about them. I’ve been following some of these threads concerning the behoerden type bayonets.
For my own knowledge, would a BNZ SS contract rifle have been issued with a behoerden bayonet?
I’ve seen the fakes with stamps.

pictures would help, when You dont see it clearly so the blade is rusted, 42 cof, would be real there, blade should be not sharpened. pictures added should have max 500kB size. Frogs were assigned already by unit, are not fixated with bayonets or rifles, but by SS contract would be possible that even Behoerden bayonet was used. Commerzial was meaning as other contract as proofed by HWA, anyway all items from bayonet maker was made commerzial, only payed different way.
