Here is an exceptionally nice K43 panel cut that I picked up at SOS this year. This rifle has been posted here before but about 7 to 8 years ago. There are quite a few more photos showing the rifle dissembled and all the numbered parts plus the barrel code. Seems like so many G and K43’s got screwed up and have issues. This is a no excuse rifle that wears a really nice 1944 dated sling. The bolt on this rifle dose not have the relief cuts to allow easy assembly and disassembly of the bolt group. Was this a common occurrence on these bolts late war? The video that watched for disassembly was a late k43 but had the relief cuts in the bolt…..It was tight and a real challenge to get apart and back together….. Thanks Chuck (Gunrunner) for giving me first swing at this sweet rifle…. The stock is just the highlight IMHO…. Enjoy
